Acquire the necessary skills to deliver a successful National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) at your site. ADCES is approved by the CDC to provide introductory, advanced and master training for lifestyle coaches to deliver CDC-recognized lifestyle change programs. Research Committee Member Liseli Mulala writes about a study she found interesting in the October 2025 issue of ADCES's research journal: This 2025 study evaluated pharmacist-led diabetes care at Taipei City Hospital in Taiwan. Patients receiving monthly sessions with certified diabetes educators showed improved health literacy, adherence, LDL cholesterol, and weight, though A1c reductions were not significant. The findings demonstrate how culturally tailored, pharmacist-driven care can enhance diabetes outcomes across diverse populations.
