DEAP Initial Application Guidelines for Accreditation

This DEAP initial application and audit guide provides steps to walk you through the process of completing and submitting your initial application, so you can become an accredited DSMES program with DEAP. It identifies all the required documents accredited programs must maintain in their DEAP binder.

The DEAP initial application guide will also help you find information on how to meet and submit documentation for each of the 6 National Standards for DSMES with our interpretive guidance as well as other resources to help you through the process.
