If you are attending AADE15, please join us today, Friday, August 7 for the Annual Business Meeting in the Great Hall (where General Sessions are held). When I attended my first AADE Annual Meeting, I saw the Business Meeting on the schedule but didn’t know I was “invited.” I have also heard this from others during our meeting this year. The Business Meeting is open for all to attend.

I bet some of you are thinking that it sounds boring. It is actually pretty interesting and will give you more insight into your organization. The meeting this year will include an overview of the past year and this year to date. I will be giving the Treasurer’s Report (spoiler alert: good news!). Then, we will have an open forum where questions will be posed to the group and the Board of Directors and staff will look for your input. The forum last year has helped the Board with the process of Strategic Planning for 2016-2018. Your thoughts and ideas matter.

So, consider joining us for the Annual Business Meeting in the lovely air-conditioned Great Hall from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM today.
