60-minute Program
Effective dates for CE credit: 9/20/2023 – 4/13/2026
Description
Being active is a key healthy self-care behavior for people with prediabetes and diabetes. However, many people have barriers to physical activity such as physical limitations, disabilities, lack of knowledge about how to get active, lack of access to safe places to be active, and lack of social support to maintain physical activity. This webinar, designed for lifestyle coaches and others working with people with prediabetes, discusses the benefits of physical activity, recommendations for physical activity, and strategies to help people overcome barriers to being active.
This webinar counts toward the CDC requirement of 2 hours of continuing education for lifestyle coaches.
