In accordance with Joint Accreditation
criteria and the ACCME’s Standards for Integrity and Independence in
Accredited Continuing Education, the Association of Diabetes Care &
Education Specialists (ADCES) must ensure that anyone in a position to control
the content of the educational activity (planners and speakers/authors/discussants/moderators)
has disclosed all relevant financial
relationships

Joint
Accreditation/ACCME also requires that ADCES mitigate any reported conflict and
eliminate the potential for bias during the educational activity. The
