Glytec

Glytec® provides insulin management software to clinics, hospitals and health systems. The cloud-based software, eGlycemic Management System (eGMS), supports providers making insulin therapy decisions in both in-patient and out-patient settings.

Glucommander®, an eGMS feature, uses real-time and historical patient data to learn patient insulin sensitivity and predict future insulin needs. Providers use Glucommander’s insulin dosing recommendations to provide personalized insulin therapy.

In addition to Glucommander, Glytec’s other eGMS tools include:

  • GlucoMetrics®: Tracks incidents of out-of-range blood glucose levels and sets and tracks internal benchmarks
  • GlucoSurveillance: Interfaces with facility laboratory to analyze blood glucose values of all facility patients, notifying clinicians of patients with abnormal glucose levels
  • GlucoView: Displays a dashboard of current patient glycemic statuses
  • SmartClick: Facilitates single sign-on from EHR platform.
