Milton

Milton is an artificial intelligence (AI) tool that allows people with diabetes to manage their diabetes through texting instead of using a mobile or computer-based app.

People with diabetes can track their glucose levels and get daily encouragement and information by texting back and forth with Milton. Milton AI diabetes management tool uses Open AI’s Chat GPT platform. The data used to train the AI comes from:
  • Medical literature from the American Diabetes Association and the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists
  • Diabetes care best practices
  • Expert diabetes management insights from a medical advisory board that includes clinicians, dietitians, doctors and endocrinologists
  • Provider's protocol that are integrated to create custom, specialized messaging.

Providers using Milton have access to full reports on the provider platform. Providers can share all reports with the patient user through text.

Milton aims to simplify diabetes management for people with diabetes who may find mobile apps too complicated. The goal is increased engagement, better outcomes, and empowerment for people with diabetes through regular and personalized feedback.
