Headlines saying Hispanic and Latino populations have a higher risk of developing cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes and other health conditions indicate changes in health can be for the worse.

AADE has combined two previously published practice papers, discussing obesity in diabetes and medications used in weight loss. By combining these practice papers, diabetes educators now have a single resource to reference when educating individuals on the impact of obesity on diabetes and vice versa, diabetes on obesity.
