Why do you love being a member?
Being a member provides me with the opportunity to keep my knowledge and skills updated with the best science and evidence-based information.
What is your favorite part about being a diabetes care and education specialist?
Being able to empower people with diabetes in their journey, regardless of the path they are on while living with diabetes.
Favorite ADCES resources/programs?
Resources for people with diabetes available in Spanish and the practice documents.
What is one piece of advice you would give to a new diabetes care and education specialist or someone considering the profession?
If you have the passion to support people with diabetes to live productive lives, becoming a DCES is the way to go! Go and do your best because it is worth it!
