What does ADCES membership mean to you?
ADCES is the premier organization for diabetes care and education specialists. Membership means access to cutting-edge resources and connections with a large network of peers who are passionate about what they do. I love that the organization brings together many different practitioners—nurses, pharmacists, physicians, dietitians and more.
What is your favorite part about being a diabetes care and education specialist?
My favorite part of being a diabetes care and education specialist is making a positive impact on my client’s lives and having a bigger reach through the media.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a new diabetes care and education specialist or someone considering the profession?
There is a great need for our expertise. Be open to learning and sharing your knowledge. And get involved with ADCES so you can learn more about the resources within the organization.
