Why do you love being a member?
I appreciate the opportunities for professional connection as well as the reference materials and education available through my membership.
What is your favorite part about being a diabetes care and education specialist?
I love being able to work with children and families to find solutions that improve their quality of life and help them achieve their goals.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a new diabetes care and education specialist or someone considering the profession?
Diabetes is constantly evolving and changing and no one solution is right for every person. This is part of the challenge of working in diabetes, but also what makes it such a fascinating and dynamic career area!
